Coeur D' Alene Man Sentenced to 77 Months for Meth Trafficking
DEC 01 -- (Idaho) - Larry McMillan, 31, of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho was sentenced November 22, 2010 to
77 months in federal prison for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. McMillan was ordered to serve four years of supervised release following his prison term. McMillan pled guilty in September 2010.
The investigation revealed that McMillan and others traveled to the Seattle area to pick up methamphetamine, which was then sold in the Coeur d’Alene area. McMillan was part of a larger group that has been distributing methamphetamine in northern Idaho for two years. Twenty defendants have been arrested in the investigation, eighteen have been convicted and seventeen have been sentenced. Previously sentenced defendants include Brenda Barron and Amber Larsen. Shad Johnson, who also pled guilty to distribution of methamphetamine, will be sentenced on January 25, 2011.
This case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration, the North Idaho Violent Crime Task Force and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
